There is no such thing as cheap jewelry from gold. We consider all gold jewelry to be of the best kind. The reason is because gold doesn’t rust and that’s what makes it such a valuable metal. Even if you get a piece that is coated with gold, provided that you take care and do not scratch it often and provided that you don’t rub through the gold coating while cleaning it, it will last a long time.
To clean gold jewelry, take it to a jewelry store and they can happily clean it for you. Sometimes they will provide a gold cleaning cloth that you can use to clean cheap jewelry very good with.
